Environmentally friendly and close: There is a connection to the rail network directly at the site, which will allow goods and merchandise to be transported from the site by rail in the future. Rail transport has played an important role on the former mining site for many decades – and could continue to be used in the future.
gate.ruhr uses the existing infrastructure of the site with its industrial tradition. The site has trimodal connections via water, road and railway.
